Drugs and Alcohol

Any member or person associated with that member, found in possession of any proscribed drugs or prohibited substances on Club premises or playing areas will be asked to leave such premises or areas and that member will have their membership of the Club immediately suspended until the Management Committee of the Club determines what further action is to be taken. Any member or person associated with that member, acting in a drunken, disorderly and/or abusive manner will be similarly dealt with.

No player will be permitted to practice or play cricket if he/she is considered to be incapable of performing to the best of his/her ability due to the influence of alcohol or drugs. The decision whether a player is so affected rests with the Team Captain or Vice-Captain or senior coach present. Such decisions will have the backing of the Management Committee. Any player dealt with in this way will be asked to appear before the Management Committee to explain the situation. The Management Committee shall decide whether any disciplinary action is required.
