CRICKET SUB-COMMITTEE

COMPOSITION AND TERMS OF REFERENCE


1.    COMPOSITION

The Cricket Sub-Committee (CSC) shall be appointed annually by the Club Management Committee (CMC).

Dougie Briggs

(1st XI Captain)

 

Rob Smith

(2nd XI Captain)

Kev Thompson

(3rd XI Captain)

Stu Rudkin

(Junior Coordinator)

Team vice-captains will deputise for captains in the event that they are unable to attend.

 

2.    TERMS OF REFERENCE

2.1    The CSC is responsible for the formulation, development and implementation of policies designed to improve playing standards at all levels within the Club.

2.2    The CSC considers and makes recommendations to the CMC on the following matters -  

(a)    the necessary additional facilities and equipment for cricket at all levels within the Club;
(b)    the format and composition of the Selection Panel;

2.3    The CMC has delegated the following matters to the CSC – 

(a)   the recruitment of players 
(b)  arrangements for coaching and practice sessions for all junior and senior players
(c)   the integration of young players, male and female, into senior cricket

3.    The CSC shall submit regular reports to the CMC.

4.    The CSC has no power to approve any expenditure by the Club without the specific approval of the CMC.
