Following the success of the taster sessions over the summer (more info below) we are running a series of indoor sessions this Autumn.
The sessions will take place at Arc Leisure Centre, Matlock, 11:00-13:00 on the following Sundays:
17/24 September, 1/15 October, 5/12/19/26 November.

The sessions will be run by Charlotte Horton, formerly the captain of the. Derbyshire Womens Cricket Team, and are open to all female participants.

All equipment is provided so all you need to do is turn up in suitable attire with loads of enthusiasm and ready to have some fun.

The programme of activities is currently being finalised, however we expect the first part of the session to focus on developing younger girls and the later part to focus on older players.

This programme is partly funded by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as part of their legacy programme following the 2017 Women's World Cup.  Our aim is establish a girls kwik cricket team and a women softball cricket team both of which are able to participate in matches over the summer
